PMOLink Celebrates 10th Anniversary
10 Years of Project Delivery Excellence
This November, PMOLink marks an especially important milestone in company history as we celebrate a “Decade of Delivery.” Over the years, our growth has created challenges, overcoming these challenges has created success, and success has created new growth. As a result, there is a lot to celebrate on this 10-year anniversary.
With a background derived from work experiences that range from government to private sector, PMOLink was founded on a robust background in successful management of large and technically complex projects. The business model for PMOLink was derived from the observation that there was a lack of companies offering repeatable solutions targeted at solving real world problems that project managers face on a daily basis. “We would go to lunch and wonder why there wasn’t a company out there supplying infrastructure support to help project managers be successful,” Geoff Hingle, Founder and CEO recalls.
Noting that there was a trend across many industries to embrace the principles espoused by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and that PMI membership was growing rapidly worldwide, PMOLink was formed. Using Geoff’s house as the corporate mailing address and dining room tables to print and collate proposals, PMOLink was off and running by the end of 2000.
10 years have passed and PMOLink is now stronger than ever. With a client portfolio spanning across industries ranging from energy, utilities, manufacturing, and construction, to major pharmaceuticals, insurance companies, and government agencies such as the U.S. Forest Service, NASA, U.S. Navy, and FEMA, PMOLink is a testament to resilience and dedication in providing the best possible solutions to customers while never straying from the fundamentals the company was founded on.
A seven-time honoree as one of the best places to work by New Orleans City Business magazine, three-times receiving top honors and slated as one of 3 private companies to watch by North Shore Report magazine, as well as being ranked 2,285 by Inc. 500/5000 on the list of the top 5000 fastest growing corporations in the nation out of a pool of over 32 million for 2010, PMOLink is proud to celebrate “A Decade of Delivery.”
