Do I need to bring anything with me?

No, we provide the computers, Primavera software, coursebook, and even pens. All you have to do is show up.

Do I get to keep the coursebook?

Yes, you will get to keep your Oracle University coursebook for both Fundamentals and Advanced training. The coursebooks are a valuable reference when you start using Primavera professionally.

Is there a Primavera P6 certification?

Many job postings require completion of the Fundamentals and Advanced courses. You will receive an Oracle University certificate of completion after you complete each course.

Should I take the Primavera Advanced Course, too?

Many students wonder if they should take the Advanced course at the same time as Fundamentals, and you should if you need the skills. The Fundamentals course will provide all the required knowledge to proceed to the Advanced course. The Advanced course covers advanced resource/cost loading, global changes, user defined fields, financial periods, performance % complete, retained logic, earned value, managing multiple projects and more. These topics may or may not be required for your position. From a qualification standpoint, Advanced may be necessary as many job postings require completion of both the Fundamentals and Advanced courses. Many students also signup to continue on to Advanced while taking the Fundamentals course, which usually has seats available.

Is parking available at the training site?

Most of our training locations offer free on-site parking, with the exception of Houston.

Our Houston office is located at the Houston Technology Center. Paid and metered parking is available around the office, however, if you are flying in, it is probably better to just take a taxi or Uber. Here is a link to a parking map of the surrounding area:

What is your Flexible Cancellation Policy?

We understand that things come up, that is why we allow you to reschedule your class date to any other of our public courses anytime, with NO FEE for rescheduling. Just check out our Training Calendar and let us know. We will also provide a full refund of your registration fee if you notify us 10+ business days before the scheduled start day of your course. Nine business days or fewer before the course, you are not eligible for a refund; however, you may reschedule your course date to any of regularly offered public classes.

Will a class be cancelled if not enough students enroll?

Unlike other training companies, we do not cancel courses due to low enrollment. If you enroll with PMOLink, your course will happen even if it is one-on-one with the instructor. Of course, weather and other things outside of our control may impact your class, but we don’t have a minimum number of students

Our students typically work in the oil and gas, chemical, utility, engineering, government, and construction industries. To find out what kind of jobs may require Primavera training, try running a search on Indeed.com, Monster.com, or other job site using the key word “Primavera”.

How is the training related to the Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification?

The PMP certification is offered through the Project Management Institute (PMI) and demonstrates a general foundation project management. Our Primavera P6 training includes many of the same project management principles included in PMP training especially relating to schedule management. Training in Primavera P6 is more specific in that you learn how to use the software to create and manage project. Our Primavera P6 training courses are generally eligible for  Professional Development Units for PMI certifications through PMI’s self reporting/certification portal.
