NEW ORLEANS (December 11, 2009) – Today, New Orleans CityBusiness held their seventh annual “Best Places to Work” luncheon at the Sheraton Hotel in New Orleans. The event honored 50 companies from the New Orleans area, including 35 large and 15 small. Based on the U.S. Small Business Administration’s definition, large businesses have 50 or more employees (PMOLink was a finalist in the small business category). The New Orleans chapter of the Human Resource Management Association helped CityBusiness select this year’s honorees. The top 50 companies were chosen based on a survey of benefits offered, including average salary, health care, paid time off and employee programs, coupled with a brief random employee telephone survey. The complete list of honorees will be featured in a special publication inside the December 14 issue of CityBusiness.

This is the sixth time PMOLink has been named a Best Place to Work by New Orleans CityBusiness, and the third time to have been ranked first out of all New Orleans area small businesses (PMOLink was ranked 14th in 2003, 3rd in 2004, and 1st place in 2006, and 3rd place in 2007, and 1st in 2008).
