PMOLink Best Place to Work Again 2006

PMOLink Ranked #1 in “Best Places to Work” Survey by New Orleans CityBusiness

MANDEVILLE, LA (December 20, 2006) – PMOLink, Inc. has been ranked first in the annual “Best Places to Work” survey conducted by New Orleans CityBusiness magazine. The “Best Places to Work” survey highlights Louisiana-based companies and organizations that excel in providing a positive, productive, and rewarding atmosphere for their workers. The Mandeville-based project and process management solutions provider was chosen as the overall winner out of the 15 companies chosen from the many nominations in the small business category, which ranks companies having fewer than 50 employees.

This is the third time PMOLink has made the CityBusiness “Best Places to Work” list, but this is the highest ranking the company has earned after previously placing fourteenth and third place respectively. “This is an outstanding achievement for our company,” says PMOLink CEO Randy Surratt. “It is a great honor just to be included on this list, but to be ranked number one out of all the local small businesses is truly a significant accomplishment.”

Selections and rankings for the “Best Places to Work” survey are based on several employee-rated categories. These categories include salary, benefits, recognition programs, continued education, opportunity for internal advancement, and community service outreach. Survey rankings are calculated from confidential surveys given to a small sampling of a company’s employees to gauge their overall satisfaction with their employers.

One of the principal core values upon which PMOLink was founded is the practice of putting employees first. “This company was formed with the idea that we would invest heavily in our number one asset, which is our employees,” states PMOLink VP of Marketing and CIO Doug Kibler. “Our goal has always been to provide salaries that pay an employee what they are worth and retain these employees with the best benefit package we can possibly offer. Even as the company has grown, we have continued to remain true to our founding objectives by continuing to invest in our employees and by providing the best benefits we can.”

PMOLink employees earn a median salary which is well above the industry standard. Employees also enjoy a robust benefit package which includes paid health, dental, and vision, 401K, stock options, paid maternity leave, an employee recognition program, and education reimbursements. PMOLink also pays for employees to earn their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and awards a generous bonus upon completion.
